Universal Child Ticket
Sadly one of our children is too old to qualify so I will have to buy 4 adult tickets (these are 2 day tickets that can be used for 5 consecutive days) but will get the 4 free childrens' tickets anyway. If there is anyone out there who is going with more children that adults perhaps we could get together and jointly benefit? Please PM me if you are interested.

On the wdwinfo boards about Universal apparently there is some doubt about this. One poster checked their ticket numbers and was clearly told which were adult and which were child. Latest reports are that the tickets now do seem to have different indication. To date no-one has posted that they have actually tried the tickets and proved that they are indeed the same - and the magnetic stripe reader can spot things that people can't.
I don't want to risk it - but if I can at least save myself and someone else some money then I'll give it a go. |

Simon is right - it has been posted on the DIS that, due to abuse of the tickets, Universal will be changing them so that the adult and child tickets are clearly marked, therefore stopping people from using child tickets for adults.
I wouldn't recommend selling them on Ebay as, if there are any problems with the tickets, whoever bought them would not be able to prove they were valid tickets (ie no proof of purchase, confirmation number etc.) I know I wouldn't want to feel I had ruined someone's holiday like that |

I hadn't thought of Ebay, perhaps as a last resort. I will, of course, provide enough information with the ticket (just short of the full CC no.) so that anyone could prove its provenance.
Have a taker for one so one left to go. |
