Disney's Magical Express - Extra Person!

Hi lovely Dibbers,

We are going to POR on 23rd May (SO SOON

)
We have booked our party of 6 onto The Magical Express. We now have an extra guest coming on our trip as a surprise!
After calling Disney, they cannot add our extra guest to our room reservation until we get to the hotel. She is an American resident so will be coming on a different flight from us, but arriving at a very similar time.

As we can't add her to the reservation until we get there does this mean she won't be able to ride on the magical express with us as her name isn't on the reservation yet? Do you think they would let her on with us even though she's not on the reservation yet?

Feel bad making her get a $60-70 Uber on her own from MCO.

Any ideas would be hugely appreciated!

Do you have 2 rooms at por?
I'm not sure why they can't add a guest on now? It seems very odd!
I think you'd be fine on the magical express though.

We have 3 rooms booked at POR as 3 couples..

So frustrating that they can't add her on now - i have no idea why either. They just said they re unable to add anyone to the reservation but it can be done when we get there.

I'm intrigued as to whether there will be a charge. They didn't seen sure of that on the phone either!

Do you have free ddp?
Is she buying tickets? Everyone in the room needs to be on the same. I'd ring back again.

Yes we have free DDP.

She already has tickets - nobody mentioned anything on the phone about needing to be on the same. Oh dear i'm worried now!

Yep everyone in the room has to have same package - so she'd need to buy uk ultimate s to qualify for free ddp.
Failing that don't tell anyone she is there. Not that I'm advocating that!

She's only staying for 6 days and not the entirety of our 2 week trip. She doesn't really need the DDP and is American so don't know if she qualifies for the UK offer anyway. I might send an email but don't know where to send.

(I did consider just not mentioning she was there eeeeeek)

They won't know or care she is anerican.
