Squeezing it all in

For no other reason than the snow has made today a very slow day, I thought I'd post the itinerary for our holiday this July just gone. We are not new to Orlando and know where we like to stay, what we wish to do and how to get around so we could get all that we wanted done in a fortnight but it is a bit congested; not as much chill time as we'd normally enjoy.

We have gone for three weeks the past few trips but, with kids now working, holidays are not as easy to arrange as previously. Anyway, our party consisted of me aged 62, wifey 59, two youngest 25 and 23 with partners of similar age and the two eldest grandchildren 16 and 12. So when Pops says, "We ride at 9", everyone is up, dressed and ready to go!

Day 1 Taxi from home to Gatwick at 4.30am. BA flight to Orlando due to land at 15.35. Collect cars and drive to Villa located in Formosa Gardens.
Day 2 Universal. Breakfast at Ponderosa but in park for 9 (we knew we'd be awake early!).
Day 3 MK. Breakfast at Crystal Palace (our fave). FPs Splash, Space and Dwarves Mine Train. Wishes in evening.
Day 4 Blizzard Beach
Day 5 Sea World. Lunch with Shamu
Day 6 HS. FPs Star Tours, Rock 'n Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror
Day 7 Typhoon Lagoon till early afternoon then MK. FPs Haunted Mansion, Pirates and dinner at Cinderella's Castle.
Day 8 Epcot. Early queue Test Track then FPs Soarin', Imagination and Spaceship Earth.
Day 9 Discovery Cove
Day 10 Islands of Adventure
Day 11 Animal Kingdom. Early queue for Flights of Passage then FPs Yeti, Navi River and Rapids.
Day 12 Volcano Bay
Day 13 Busch Gardens
Day 14 Mop up day for shopping and rides we missed earlier
Day 15 Crazy Golf (Winter Wonderland) then airport and home

It all went extremely well although we needed to purchase fast passes at U and IoA; expensive but the only way to do all the rides in a day at that time of year.

Next trip planned in 2019 when there will be two younger grandchildren in the party. Fortunately, Mum and Dad are teachers and so 3 weeks in their summer holiday very doable
