Disney Ticket Swindle/price increase!

Am i the only one is annoyed ( or caught out?!) by what has happened with the currrent Disney promotion of 14 day ultimate tickets for the price of a 7 day for 2009?

The original offer was "extended" from 4th November to 2nd December.

Now they have put the prices up from £161 to a whopping £206!

I suppose there is still the technicality that they didnt say the price wouldnt go up at any stage! . But there seems an element of unfairness here somewhere.

I was holding out to book them at the last minute (i.e 1st December!)!

Any one else been caught out or annoyed by this?!.

p.s. probably try Premier now, unless they have put theirs up too!...

You just have to shop around (like we all do) and try different places.

Yes, I fell for it. When they said they extended the offer, I thought it meant the original offer which was £169. I too intended to buy but won't now.

Yep, I too am now considering dumping Disney  and just go to universal etc. using the flex tickets. It's like saying here is the carrot, now take the stick too.

Thats what we had been doing, and found this offer of Disneys to be the cheapest.

But when they extended their "offer", we didnt forsee a sudden overnight jump of £48!

Back to the drawing board/websites/trawling... !

well prices can change at anytime with these offers. So the trick is when you see an offer with a price you are happy with to get them then and there.

Hi there. I got an e-mail saying about this offer only this afternoon, but didn't bother looking because I bought my tickets when they were on offer before. It is a shock because you would assume they would be the same price. It's quite a difference so you definitely have to shop around.

Well disappointed about this! I've been trying to persuade our group to return next year after a the best ever time this October, so when Disney extended the free dinning offer (main carrot, ties in with school holidays, missed out this year) I hade convinced myself I was going to get back if we cut back on other things throughout the year. Bang goes that idea, gutted!
