Sorry to sound stupid. I have only just found this forum and don't know much about this Orlando business (our first visit in February 2013).

Could you tell me what ADRs are and why I need to book them in advance?

Many thanks.

I would advise not getting them too early.

We have had to cancel our holiday due to an out of the blue family illness and have lost the whole of DC, part of Universal and the whole of MNSHHP. I am hoping that the insurance company will pick up the costs, but unless you have insurance that covers tickets (our only go up to £250pp) i would wait until a couple of weeks before. You don't get them any cheaper unless you book an special discount code anyhow.

Im also going to Disney first time next yr but have been on here now a fair bit so can help. ADR's are 'Advance Dining Reservations' so you can pre book meals if you wish before you go. We pre booked 3 evening meals and 1 lunch, as we dont want a regimented routine for the whole holiday. You can book on the Disney website , it wouldnt work when I tried so i called them and booked over the phone.

Are you on site?

I booked with attraction tickets this morning for next oct and got the 4 park legoland, busch gardens seaworld and aquatica deal for a stonking £99 each thats a great deal, i paid £100 just for legoland this year for the 3 of us which was an amazing park by the way. I paid the £10 deposit each but didnt buy the £19 cancellation as if i cancel them i only loose £30 anyway so wasnt bothered.
