My Disney Experience + UK Ultimate tickets

Does anyone know if you can link 14 day Disney UK Ultimate tickets to a 'My Disney Experience' profile on the website or app?

I have been successful in linking my MVMCP 'will call' tickets to my login (presumably because I have a US reservation number for that), but when I try and add the 8 digit ID number of my Ultimate tickets the website says they aren't valid IDs. There is a small sticker next to the 8 digits on the back of each card, I am wondering if there are more numbers hidden underneath the sticker which I should reveal but I am worried about removing the sticker in case I somehow void the card! There is no QR code on the back of the plastic card. I got the cards from Attraction Tickets Direct.

Is it only US reservations and Magic My Way tickets that can be added to this?

Have you got the physical tickets? Isn't there a barcode scanner in the app you could use if you do?

Yes I have the physical plastic tickets. The back looks very much like the picture on the website. The Ultimate cards don't have any barcode, or qr code, but it has a 8-digit number on the bottom left and a small sticker, which looks like a "Do not remove or you void the card" type sticker. I am wondering if I remove the sticker I might reveal another 4 digits giving me a 12 digit code which is what the website seems to want.

I emailed Disney about that grey box and had the following reply:

Thank you for contacting the Walt Disney World® Resort.

If those are AAA tickets that you are referring to, yes, you will need
to go ahead and scratch off the grey box covering the last 4 digits in
order to correctly link them. Scratching that box will not invalidate
your tickets, so you are free do that if you wish.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to email us again.

No idea why they think they are AAA tickets though, never said that in the email! I've emailed them back to clarify!

Thanks for that. Yes. it does look like a scratch panel in the form of a sticker. It is grey and has wavy lines through it. But no where on the plastic does it say to remove the sticker. It could be some sort of RFID chip for all I know, and I wouldn't want to remove that!

It's not the RFID chip, that's embedded in between the layers of the card. You can see the layers if you look at the side of the card.

I'm tempted to say that they cover the number up so that it can only be looked at post purchase.

Yeah I guess you are right. An RFID sticker would be a bit silly as a child could easily take it off whilst bored waiting in a queue!

Can you post back here when disney email you back again. I'm tempted to leave the sticker on at the moment until after the card has been activated at the park and then scratch it off when I am there. But it would be nice to know if we can do it now and link the card. It's a shame the plastic card doesn't have small print to say "Scratch here to reveal your RFID number" or something to that effect.

Haha. You are brave! I hope you manage to link yours. It would be nice to be ready for when FastPass+ starts.

A further reply from Disney;

Thank you for contacting the Walt Disney World® Resort.

Yes, you're able to scratch that portion off in order to view the entire
ticket number.

If you have questions or need further assistance, feel free to contact
us.

Although the MDE website is down for maintenance so I can't see if they work.
