Had awful experience with Avis preferred today they had no car ready had to hang around for 40 minutes then they added taxes etc to my receipt got them to take them off although still a charge of $9 on there customer service was awful. I'm not feeling hopeful that they don't sting me for something. May have a fight on my hands when I get back.
Please be careful.
I certainly won't use them again I will stick with Alamo in future.

Had a fantastic experience with Avis yesterday,
Straight to garage, was expecting a Chevvy Tahie, instead got a Ford Expedition, no extra charges on the receipt, BA voucher already registered.

Love to use Avis, always a good service every tine.

would never use Alamo Rent A Wreck after one use of them, never again.

Can I ask how much hold was on your credit card? Seen a few varying amounts. We too are picking up a tahoe so the ford would be nice

I know this is a bit cheeky but would you mind sharing a snap of the receipt you got which shows the voucher off just somI know what to look out for next month? TIA
