AA.com Care Hire Confusion!
Hi there!
Travelling Sept20-Oct04 this year and saw I can get a discount being a member of the AA. Came up around £230 for the 2 weeks with National, booking through the aa discount site. However the prices come up in dollars and can't seem to work out if all the insurance is covered and i'm good to book and not pay anything extra at pickup! It lists... 1 Rental period @ $304.76 USD $304.76 USD Loss Damage Waiver Full (included) Supplemental Liability Insurance (included) Customer Facility Charge (included) Priv Fee Recov Chg 10% (included) Florida Surcharge (included) Tire/battery Fee (included) Vehicle License Fee (included) Sales Tax (included) Total Charges $304.76 USD Is the first time of me booking a car over there as others have done it before so want to make sure i'm all sorted! Thank in advance P.S Also annoyed I didn't see that there are lots of discounts for aa members at Universal when I went earlier in the year! |

Providing its unlimited mileage, zero excess and the SLI is to $1 million, then you're good to go.

Great thanks!
Also, I have booked it but it hasn't given me an option to pay, it just gives the cost estimate and then a reservation/confirmation number to my email. Is this ok or should I cancel and book through national/alamo direct and pay so I know everything is sorted beforehand. Rich |

The only company I've come across that gives you the option to pay locally is the Alamo Brits website. I prefer to pay before I travel and then skip the rental counter when I arrive. Not sure if thats possible with the pay locally bookings.. I'm sure someone will correct me if i'm wrong with that.
Take a look at alamo/brits carrentals discountfloridacarhire uscarhire usrentacar Virgin Atlantic & Virgin Holidays (different prices on both websites). |
