Test Drive

Can you test drive a car at the moment? My company car goes back on Tuesday and I wasn’t going to get another car but am now reconsidering.

Yes you can. My Son is awaiting a new car delivery but when he was researching a few weeks ago Sytner gave him a demo for the afternoon to do with as he wished.

He went to Costco!

However every Dealer has different rules and procedures so worth checking before going there.

Yes, most are .
Tesla give you 20 mins on your own and some others are giving you a bit longer . You do have to book online before you go though .

Most are, the motor insurers have changed their rules on the use of trade plates and now allow for customers to go un-attended on a test drive.

As above, you should contact the dealer first to make an appointment if it is a main dealer. Many secondhand dealers still allow for walk ins.

I was looking at hiring the model I’m interested in for the day from one of the car hire companies if available.

I know there’s a cost, but at least I can ‘live’ with it rather than just than a spin round the block 😄
