Anyone planning a more exciting trip to the one they've had cancelled?
Trying to focus on the positives...
We had a big exciting trip planned in August with good friends of ours, we were staying at The Beach Club in 2 x 1 beds, both couples bringing an older teen. As my friend turned *ahem* 30 early this year and it's my *ahem* 30th later this year we did have lots of exciting things planned, surfing lesson for her birthday present, airboat ride for their Christmas present, celebration cruise for my birthday... We've decided to reschedule for January '22 but it'll only be the 2 couples as both teens have their own plans, and as I've not used many of our DVC points this year and will have most of 2021's and can borrow from '22 we're splurging on a cabin at Copper Creek, Wilderness Lodge. I'm buzzing with excitement at staying in one, always wanted to, never been able to justify the amount of points they cost. Anyone else got something that's even more exciting than the trip they had to cancel?

We had our mini moon to the peaks cancelled. We were planning Vegas as a mini moon instead 😂.
All on hold again now though. Definitely bigger and better from now on, never taking travelling for granted.

Our Silver wedding anniversary was ruined, we had really special things booked in Florida for it ☹️ so next year hopefully we'll push the boat out and do something even more special 🤞

For my big birthday next week we were going to
Florida in october to do a road trip and we were going to Biktoberfest in daytona and Fantasyfest in KW. All cancelled now but it is our 25th wedding anniversary next year so we are flying to Vegas and doing a 2 week road trip ending in San Fran and my ds and his gf coming. I just need to sort the planning out in between and 2 lots of friends coming to Vegas to join us there. Can't wait to be able to book the flights and start planning. Still have to decide on the middle bit of trip 🤔 |

We’ve taken advantage of additional credit for our cancelled cruise so upgraded the cabin which we wouldn’t have done before.
The one we’re most excited about is a trip to Canada next September which includes the Rocky Mountaineer and then a week long cruise to Alaska. Can’t wait!

AS BA have cancelled our September trip, we're considering a three week trip next September with our grown children joining us for the third week. Not sure if that's exciting or insane.
