Villa rental but no reviews yet

We are looking for a villa in Marbella area for July, rather last minute! There is one I like the look of, but it is a new listing, no reviews yet, which is making me wary, via Homeaway, the owner has corresponded with me via the official website, and she seems fine, would you be happy to proceed?
We will have some protection of our payment via credit card, and through Homeaway.

Or, any dibbers got a villa in Marbella please?

The villa itself is not new, its just being newly rented out according to the owner. So we would be first to rent it. Its beautiful but would have been happier if there were a few reviews. (Although these can always be faked anyway) Guess any rental is a leap of faith?

If you've spoken to the owner and you love it go for it! Well I would anyway.

Home away hold your funds for approx 72 hours before they are released to the owner.

If you arrive and villa is not there or unable to gain entry.. They will refund you and owner is not paid.

Marbella isn�t far from us some beautiful homes there close to I4 junction Posner Park Publix and Walmart and Aldi 10 mins away as are Mannys Sonny�s Ovation Bistro Denny�s Davenport ale house the Cinema etc

Don't know if this helps but my daughter and l just spent a week in Florence in a lovely apartment rented through Homes Away and it was perfect. The owner was there to meet us , apartment exactly as pictured, spotlessly clean and in a wonderful location and she had even left a bottle of wine for us from her own vineyard. Hope your holiday is as wonderful as ours was.
