February

Hi guys

Can anyone who’s been in February be able to tell me if water parks are an option?

We’ve been at different times of the year but February is not one! We are going at Christmas and know from previous years they are hit and miss with low temperatures so are not planning to try.

Thanks

It depends on the weather really we went at the end February in 2010 and the first week was literally freezing, we had to buy gloves. The second week was lovely around 75ish we visited blizzard and aquatica, we had the parks to ourselves it was great!

We’ve been in February several times and the water parks have never been closed for weather reasons. However, one out of TL or BB is likely to be shut for its annual refurb. This has always been the case when we’ve been,

Yeah we have been 3 times in February now and have always gone to the water parks. Temperatures from day to day can change by as much as 10 degrees, some are colder but on others it can be late 20s, early 30s, so nice and hot.

When planning, I always allow for a back up day for the water park, just in case our first choice happens to be too cold or rainy.

Our favourite is Typhoon Lagoon because of the wave pool but it alternates for seasonal refurbishment with Blizzard Beach. We love Aquatica too.

Have fun!

Thanks guys.

We’re there for Christmas doing Disney and Universal and Feb is a surprise week where we plan to do seaworld aquatica (kids favourite) and Bausch Gardens.

I think we’ll go with a loose plan for each day knowing we’re not booking fast passes!

We went this February, I would t have gone to a water park during the first week as it was a little too cool. It was warm enough the second week, but we were spending only the last five days in Disney and preferred to spend time in the other parks.

We have been many times in early February. Typhoon Lagoon is likely to be closed during February but Blizzard Beach and Aquatica will be open if the weather permits (they close if its too cold)

We have always been able to spend numerous days at the water parks but you can't really plan ahead ("on the first wednesday we will go to BB") as the weather is quite changeable.
