Pixie Dust for My Beautiful Sister please

My sister who is only 54, last year discovered (after a routine optician appointment) that she has Ocular Melanoma - that is cancer of the eye which was unfortunately already too far progressed for them to save her eye. Within a week of her Optician appointment she had to have a full enucleation of the eye (removal). It’s a very rare, but aggressive cancer - only 600 cases last year, but unfortunately numbers are increasing.
Coupled with that harrowing diagnosis & surgery, her cyto-genetic results came back in the high 90’s as a percentage of it spreading (it usually spreads to liver & lungs from the limited information they know about it). Just 1 - year since diagnosis & she has now been told that there are lesions in her liver and lungs. The plan now is for immunotherapy to hopefully give her 2-3 years. Hoping & praying they develop more treatments/clinical trials. In the meantime please throw some Pixie Dust this way. 🙏

Thank you everyone. As you can imagine we had a heartbreaking weekend after these latest results. I have cried so much, I suppose it’s like a grief already knowing what’s to come. I just dread telling my kids who all adore my sister. 😢😢
Her shocking diagnosis was part of the reason we went on our holiday in April. We’d already post-poned a couple of times & it just makes you appreciate how short life really is & that you never know what’s around the next corner.
My sister is being so brave, and what’s more, her & her daughter organised between them a charity ball to raise money for Ocumel UK and managed to raise £10k, now that takes some doing.
One of the ladies attending on behalf of the charity was diagnosed with the same herself- she used to be a make-up artist to Piers Morgan & he did a little video slot to help raise awareness.
