Best day for Universal

I was looking on the guide on the dibb and it said sunday is an acceptable day but Saturday is not. However I also read somewhere else that it was the other way around. Anyone got any experience?

I went on a Sunday last September and it was really quiet, all rides a walk on including Harry Potter Escape from Gringotts. I haven't been on a Saturday.

We went on a Sunday last year in Aug and was really empty. Touring Plans are also suggesting this year that the Sunday we are there will be very quiet.

It depends which park and when. I would just go by the busy day guide.

I have usually found in July/August that Thursday is good for one park and the Friday good for the other so tend to always stay on a Thursday - so guess there may be some broader pattern to it. Don't know how Sundays work.

Would've thought VB would be busy on a weekend, like BB n TL, with locals.

I've also been using the Dibb Busy Day Guide to work out when to visit IOA & US.

Looking at Sun 25th Aug it shows US as most recommended but IOA as least recommended (could be Hagrid's ride causing this) however Mon 26th IOA is most recommended with US as average.

The same applies the following weekend (Labor day weekend).
Would both parks be not be similar levels each day with the train linking the two?

The train has given some flexibility for people to move between parks. But I think a number of folk must just pay one park one day tickets and avoid jumping.

Agree though you would expect it to blend more.

Weekends are often busier than week days as locals will visit but not sure why one would be busier than the other.
