Disneyland Paris have announced that there will be a restructure of all Annual passes SOLD after 29/3/17. More details will follow shortly. In terms of passes already issued, they are still valid with the existing Dream / Fantasy structure. Exchange for full passes within 6 months of the issued date has not changed. This will only affected passes purchased after 29/3/17

So fingers crossed we will be ok
Same boat. Have Fantasy APs from Supertrips for our stay at end of May.

I'll be contacting Supertrips as I'd like email confirmation that we will be OK. We are staying onsite so don't need to worry about EMH anyway.

Totally agree about the changes to APs however it wasn't foreign visitors who bled the APs dry really, it's the locals - their average spend outside the AP was something like 1 euro per visit as they wouldn't spend in the parks when there. Not saying it's wrong, just that they used the AP in a different way to most foreign visitors which was never really addressed. Probably similar say to UK visitors who use Merlin APs for their attractions etc?

The APs, while a contribution to lack of profit are really not a big issue. There are far more in depth reasons for no profit - the financial structuring and licensing fees being the main ones. This will be addressed with TWDC holding the majority share though.

I personally think the luxury end DLP hotels are going to struggle. More and more people will go for mid range and budget hotels.

Has anyone seen what this means for sponsorship etc.?
I have a trip booked with family at the end of May. We had intended for them to buy Fantasy passes with me sponsoring them. This would then give me free renewal on my Dream Pass, which currently expires the day before I check in to SQL for Marathon weekend, booked using a Dream Pass discount!
All my plans seem a bit up in the air at the moment

I will let you all know how we get on in April, I'm just hoping someone is on here that is going between the 29th March and 10th of April and see if they exchange their pass without any problems

Thank you.

Just wonder what will happen (if anything) with regard to checking into rooms with APs? I hope it's not going to be an issue for us as 3 of us are using APs and two are on the 'package' deal. I can't see it being any different but who knows.

From what I've been reading I think that for pre purchased APs you will just get the same benefits as always and same blackout days the difference will be when it comes to renewal or if you are wanting to upgrade to get the new perks, we won't be renewing after this year as saving for a 2019 WDW holiday!

Just managed to get a look at the ED92 article, it looks like the sponsorship gives us a 6 month extension, which will work well for my scenario, checking in the day after my current pass expires, although I guess we will have to wait and see how/when they apply the extension.
I would also like to know the blackout dates for the various new passes. My family and I arrive on 27th May, currently a blackout date for the Fantasy pass, but you can buy a ticket and then upgrade in park, so we were looking to take advantage of that, since the rest of our days were fine on the Fantasy Pass. Our strategy may need to change depending upon new restrictions.

Am I missing it or is there nothing for FP on the top AP? There was rumour FP would be included in some form. What are Premium Services?

No FPs. The main benefits of the infinity pass are no blackout dates, 5% extra discounts in the restaurants. the photopass and the viewing areas.

I think Disney should of announced the full details as soon as the new pass info came out.

I don't see how Disney will let us exchange vouchers from Supertrips for Fantasy or Dream passes when they will no longer exist. Do you think Supertrips will refund us?
