My understanding is that Disney will reimburse the trading costs, I'll see if I can find where I read it

Edit - I can't find where I read that, I am sure someone will be able to confirm whether this is true or not x

Brokerage fees up to €100 refunded depending on transaction size (if your shares are tendered under the Semi-Centralized Procedure / see Tender offer document)

Jonjo is doing a sterling job of keeping the share buying updated on his blog and twitter.

I actually thought they would have acquired more shares by now. I wonder how many are sitting tight and waiting to see how the buying goes?

TWDC owned 86.72% as of yesterday.

Don't forget a lot of shares will be sold in bulk towards the end of the tender period - my shares are with Halifax & they are giving us until 29th may to respond to the tender offer, then all the Halifax shares will be sold to Disney at the same time.

Ah I wasn't aware that was how Halifax was working, I thought shares would be sold as and when. Some banks in the Netherlands have a much shorter response period.

TWDC are clearly buying every day though so it's interesting to see.

Yes, even though I've submitted my acceptance of the offer I can still change my mind any time up to the 29th.

Yeah but it's been reported they bought 200,000 shares yesterday so they are clearly still buying every day from someone!

I haven't read my Halifax offer yet - putting it off for a few days!

ETA: 86.75% as of yesterday (credit: Salon Mickey).

I've opted to sell 100 of my shares and kept the original 20.
No idea if I've "done the right thing" but I'm here now and the parks look great.
So I was reluctant to get rid of them all... and the Halifax deadline is tomorrow so thought I'd best at least log on and look!
Going to Salon Mickey in the morning as I've never managed to do it on previous visits. Might be the last chance I get!

Has anybody logged into Halifax share dealing recently? I've logged in tonight expecting my shares to have disappeared as I opted to sell all my shares and they are still there showing in my portfolio! Does anybody know if this is correct or do I need to be ringing them to query it?

Regards
Sarah

Just checked and mine are still there too and I opted to sell them all. I must admit it seems a little strange x
