We stumbled across Cafe Mickey in DLP 2 years ago in April .. I had never heard of it. We had the most fantastic time meeting all the characters! Captain Hook came up and put his Hook round my neck and my (then) 3 year old daughter told him to 'Take his hands off my mummy!' (I thought she was very brave :-)
Looking forward to going back in October ... |

cafe Mickey no buffet
We were under the impression that Cafe Mickey's was a buffet, but it has a menu, we went for lunch and myself and dh both had pasta, which was really nice ds had fish and chips, its mainly salads, pizza pasta and burgers, it may have a buffet breakfast or dinner though would definately go back, the character interaction was great!

When we went a couple of years ago it was a 'menu' restaurant rather than a buffet, although I seem to recall we had a set meal for a reasonable price. We enjoyed it there, and the character interaction was great fun.

We are booked there for dinner one evening when we go in October and I thought it was a buffet?

I think there are a few posters confusing CHEF Mickey at WDW,
with CAFE Mickey at Disneyland Paris. Please remember THIS forum is discussing DISNEYLAND PARIS. Cafe Mickey at Disneyland Paris is a full a la carte restaurant serving quality food for both lunch and dinner - with great character interaction as well. It also offers a Table d'Hote style set menu deal. See menu here, thanks to Hannikins. From Jun 09 so prices may have altered a little.

Breakfast at Cafe Mickey is a buffet, that might be where the confusion is!

Is it worth booking Cafe Mickey before we depart or would it be okay to book it when we arrive? Thanks.

When we went last year in September Ali, I booked it with concierge when we checked in and we were fine.
