If you read TripAdvisor, would you ever visit any hotel?

Here's my take:

1. People expect WDW at DLP.
2. DLP is not WDW. It's DLP.
3. People are disappointed that DLP is not WDW.
4. People diss DLP.
5. European service is very different to American service.
6. People diss DLP.

I love DLP - it is a wonderful, beautiful and magical place. But not everyone has the same opinion as me.

I recommend you with an open mind, and come back with your own opinion, and share it with others

I agree with the above, if your bad reports are comming from TA ignore them! I'm not easily pleased and i love DLP, as does my DH and our sons, it's such a lovely place, and very much worth a visit!

And if you read on here, there are so many positive reports from people who regularly part with their hard earned cash to go to DLP - if it was bad, we surely wouldn't do that, but save up for longer and go to WDW! As mentioned above, it isn't the same, but if you're aware of that and have an open mind (plus you're holidaying in Europe not the US and there are differences) you're sure to have a great time!

Where are you reading neg reports?

Rob (blusteryday) has already done the TripAdvisor bit. That site is purely a place for people to moan.

Here on the dibb we LOVE DLP and I'd advise you to read the recent Trip Reports here in the DLP Forums.

My own TOPPS GEAR CHALLENGE in my sig.

We LOVE DLP and as you can see by my countdown we are going back pretty soon for our 5th time! We have also been to WDW many times and love it there too, you just cannot compare the two they are so different but are wonderful in their own ways. Hope this helps

It's a few years since we've been, we really enjoyed it and would go back again in a minute... just wish there was a cheap way of doing it from up here though. Like Rob said... don't go expecting WDW and you'll be pleasantly surprised... it's miles better than any theme parks in the UK.

it's like everywhere. you'll not like some things but then you'll love others.

Tower of terror still makes ya leave your stomach half way up in the air and the nemo ride, well it just rocks.

I agree totally with this - we are going for our 12th trip soon so it can't be that bad.

Some people just love to moan & complain and if you look hard enough you'll find issues ANYWHERE you go
