Free wifi in the lobby of DLH. I find it smells much nicer than McDs (and not as far to walk).
Main street train station is about as busy as they get, frontierland station is usually deserted. If you are tired of burgers and chips then try Restaurant de Stars buffet (lots of vegetables usually) or Agrabah cafe. EMH is taken in the studios sometimes, a great way to get on Crushes coaster. If you have a smart phone and children then load it up with clips or films for the children. I went mad caching youtube/iplayer clips of various shows beforehand - keeps the little ones easily amused during queues. I also invested in a "pebble" battery from amazon. £20 and it houses the equivalent of 4 charges (just plugs into the phone usb). Experiment with dreams viewing, We found a nice spot near the globe outside discoveryland that let the kids stand on the concrete and you can easily see both sides too. Autopia closed a little earlier than other rides and is usually walk on at the end of the day (then a short walk for dreams). There is a kiosk outside videopolis that serves rather excellent hot chocolate (it isnt always open though). Take an insulated mug and pour it in for an easily carried non-spillable alternative. |

Sorry, it's been a bit chaotic recently and not had chance to sort it - will probably be after our trip now, but I will do it as soon as I can

I have finally remembered to upload my document of tips I have done for friends, a lot are already on this page and some need updating (though I think it says which ones).
DLP Tips (2).doc Not in there but also useful if anyone has a birthday to celebrate (doesn't have to be during the trip, Disney rules say any time in the 6mths prior or after your trip is fine). - go to City Hall in Disneyland Parc in the morning and tell a CM about the birthday. They should give you a paper badge, not great but should survive the day and there will also be a phone call for the birthday girl/boy. If they don't offer it then ask to take the call in a side room on loudspeaker, otherwise it is hard to hear the call. If you are really lucky the CM might give you a voucher for either a free pin from Harringtons or a balloon. If you wear your badge then you should be wished a 'Bon Anniversaire' from CMs all day. There are also some pin trading tips which I will dig out, I think BrinBunny (who I haven't spotted on here in a while) posted most of them a while back. |
