It won't be too bad if they reduce the hotel prices but I don't think they will do that!

A bit confused by the characters breakfast, if that's the only charge then surely you'd just do that rather than eat in your hotel? If you have to pay the hotel fee too how is it fair that someone at DLH has to pay 23 quid plus the charge for the character breakfast while someone at Santa fe only pays 13 quid plus the character breakfast charge?
I wonder if that is just the onsite price? I can't see them having a character breakfast actually in the park, which is not open to offsite guests! That would be shooting themselves in the foot.

These prices are also from March so do you think if we book after 13th October but for travel in January we'll still get breakfast included?

It will be interesting to see what the prices for Character breakfast are from 29th March after they move to the Plaza Gardens, it will probably be a lot more.

I was moaning to DH about this last night, and it has spurred us on to book a quick 5-day break there in mid-March 2017. Final time with free brekkie, as we were thinking about going in the Spring anyway.

Later today I'm going to see what I can get us ...

Which would you prefer - that they up the room rates or they give you a choice about breakfast? As said - there's always Starbucks or McDonalds.

I found the breakfast in the mid tier hotels to be of poor quality too busy and a bit dirty- I gave up after the first day and never went back, so not a great loss for me.

If they take Salon Mickey away though I will not be happy!

This does bring things in line with all the other Disney parks around the world.

I was thinking last night, do you think if you book direct with Disney you'll still get breakfast included and booking elsewhere you have to pay if you want it?

Or, more likely, they do both.

Is someone in the DLH now expected to walk back to the Village to get breakfast if they don't want to pay £23 per person per day? Just because it brings things in line with the other resorts doesn't make it a good decision.
