Mobile CSR preferred rooms - bathrooms

Morning, we're booked to stay in a preferred room in May.
I've been looking at various YouTube videos of room tours of the resort and it looks as though the bathrooms are a mixture of double shower units or shower over the bath.

Does anyone know if there's a particular arrangement in the preferred rooms? I'd personally choose the bigger shower unit.

It won't obviously make any difference to the holiday, I'm just being nosey! 😂

Thanks all

The rooms outside of the tower are all the same - the only difference is, as you mention, shower only or shower over bath. “Preferred” refers to the situation of the room which will be in Casitas 1, 2 or 3. You aren’t guaranteed a shower only room but you can put in a request for one. It’s recommended to send a fax request about 30 days before check in. No requests are guaranteed to be met though.

I believe there are fewer rooms with a shower over a bath than rooms with a walk-in shower only, and I think families with children often prefer to have a bath so these rooms are in fact in demand... so if it's the walk-in shower you're after, I think there's a very good chance you'll get just that! We were in a preferred room and had the walk-in shower - it's fantastic.

We’d like a walk in shower but also would prefer not to have an adjoining room. Will have to figure out which is actually our preference.

Oh that's fab news thanks so much. We stayed in a suite in AOA a couple of years ago and the en suite had a double shower and it was brilliant. Will keep my fingers crossed x

Are the two mutually exclusive?
