Mobile Coronado Springs room requests

Just wondered location of our room in this resort and if this meant we will be in the Gran Destino tower?

We have a preferred room and my understanding is that these were the Casistas but given these are the only options:

-Highest floor
-Upper floor
-Near transportation

In other resorts I've had more options than this.

Anyone know as I'm also aware the Casistas are 3 floors so the options would line up with the top floor, middle floor and ground floor.

Thanks in advance

I cant think of anywhere you wouldn't be? They all are close to transport. High room , so upper room. I'd be more concerned for water view.

I think tower rooms are called tower rooms?

The tower rooms are under a separate category, we had preferred rooms at Christmas and were in Casitas 3 on the second floor, there are lifts, in the blocks.

Tower rooms are a separate category, as are Casitas 1, 2 and 3 which make the 'preferred category. All other buildings have standard rooms (as well as water and garden view rooms). The resort has 4 bus stops so any location can be close to transportation, and obviously any building has an upper floor... if only the second of two floors

I've sent a request and was allocated a random room, but we were upgraded at check in to Casitas 2. It wasn't a top floor which I would have preferred, but it was a lovely room in a decent location. Some people have success with their room request, others less so. It's a very large resort and I imagine it's impossible for them to always meet room requirements.

I wouldn’t rely on any room choices in online check in as I think this has been disabled.

There is always a chance you end up being moved into a tower room, but no these options do not indicate that you are in the tower at this time. If you were in a tower room, it would be stated under room type.

I have a tower room booked for December, the room type states “Tower room - water view”. The check in options are between “none” and “upper floor”.

you have booked a preferred room, so unless you're upgraded to tower, you will be in one of the 3 first Casitas buidings.

casitas can have between 3 and 5 floors depending on the building

we got ranchoes when we requested casitas 5 but on check in he moved us to casitas 5.

I think at checkin you will get what you want.

Check out the bus stops - you might want to be closer to the bus stop in casitas 3 than the food in casitas 1...

Two things

Number 1 , the GDT is a higher cost than CSR, so unless you receive an upgrade, you will not be in the fantastic tower

Number 2, with the new bridges across the lake, preferred status is much less important given that it is easier to get from one area to another, food court and buss stops included

Enjoy
