max pass, is it worth it ?

With the price of the max pass going up I'm wondering if its actually worth getting it or not, what are the actual benefits of having it ?

For our party of 4, we booked one person for one day at each park for the photopass privilege at $15, which I thought was decent value.
There are not that many rides was fast pass lines compared to WDW, and was able to use paper FP to do all we wanted. At that time only Smugglers Run was open in GE, which we had advance reservation for, so may be different now with both attractions open
