alcohol on dining plan

Last time we visited in 2017 there was no alcohol included with the dining plan. This time I can see that we will get an alcoholic drink. We have the ddp but I'm just wondering as my children are 13 and 10 so classed as adults, would I be able to order 4 alcoholic drinks if eating in a quick service location to take back to the room for us to keep in the fridge? We will be using the refillable mugs in the resort restaurant but just wondered if we'd be able to do this or not? Just want to make sure I'm getting my monies worth and not missing anything. Thanks

We weren’t allowed to do it in 2018. They’d only allow my husband take two beers if I was standing with him to show that there’s two over 21’s.

You can. You just need to get the kids to sit down somewhere and go and order twice. You can do it in quick service restaurants in the parks as well.
