Nob Hill area?

Hi all

Finally almost ready to book our West Coast trip!

Has anyone ever stayed in the Nob Hill area? Ideally I wanted Fisherman's Wharf, but it's so much more £££!

Yes, we stayed in an apartment there on our first visit. Was convenient for 2 cable car lines, and the cable car museum was just round the corner

We are in just under 2weeks walkable for us for what we want to do and see

We stayed at Castle Inn on Broadway, Nob Hill. Nothing flashy but clean, safe, free parking, free wifi and free breakfast to go.
A 5 minute bus ride to Fisherman's Wharf, and a cable car stop 2 minutes walk, so great transfer connections. Download the Muni App for public transport tickets ($5 unlimited day ticket or $12 inc cable cars) Cable cars are $7 one journey if paying per trip.

Pretty well located and on the good, Fishermen’s Wharf side of the Tenderloin (area that people suggest avoiding at night). You are actually near to many things that you might want to visit in any case..
Dylan’s Cycle shop on Columbus (if you do the tour).
Lombard Street.
Cable car museum
Powell Cable Car
Disney museum.
Union Sq with Macy and the Cheesecake Factory is also close.

You are not too far from Fishermen’s wharf either, whilst saving plenty. I would be very happy with that selection.
