Thank you for all the support and kind comments. I still have super tough days. I have used the crisis line tonight as I felt overwhelmed. Each day I win the battle. I hope I always do.

As a mum my daughter took an overdose a few months ago thankfully we got help straight away . That day will haunt me forever, my daughter is doing ok now but my heart goes out to anyone who has been on this situation.

It’s very sad news- I wasnt a particular fan- however it was clear for all to see that that things were spiralling out of control for her and she needed help. Very sad for her family and friends

I am so shocked, I really liked her when she was on the I’m a celebrity ITV2 show a few years back, fun loving with an infectious laugh. It’s disgraceful what the media can do to people once they set their sights on someone.

What has happened to Caroline has really stopped me in my tracks tonight, but I’m also not surprised like another poster said.

I’ve never watched love island but really felt for her when the obvious hate campaign in the press started to ramp up. Then came the fight with her boyfriend and the really odd instruction to not have any contact with him even on social media. I just found that over the top and remember thinking that it was very harsh and I don’t recall hearing of similarities in other cases that were still to come to court...not that I’m an expert.

I feel really upset by this more than others for some reason. I feel for her boyfriend and hope he and her family are getting the support they need.

The daily vitriol spouted by our gutter press and those who call themselves journalists and tv personalities, is 100% why Harry took Meghan out of here as fast as he could and I’m glad he did!
