Flight diverted

Spanish airport Authorities opened all Canary Airports bar Tenerife South which is due update.
Guess slot of repositioning flights from airlines which from experience will be the low cost carriers.

How’s everyone doing today ?
Our flight has left the uk 40 minutes late so hoping just that much late taking off back home

Finally had an email from Mum. She doesn't have a internet phone so limited to basic text messages last night 🤔

They're in a really nice hotel - High Pines - about 30mins from the airport.

They finally checked in about 10pm last night and we're in the restaurant by 10.45 getting their first meal. My auntie was feeling ill by this point through lack of food - only given water on the flight and they'd left Manchester just after 10am. I think Jet2 should/could of provided some food while waiting at Faro airport. Even sandwiches/snacks.

They've been provided 3 meals today but having to pay for drinks. My uncle not too happy as they were meant to be all inclusive so have very limited cash with them.

They are due to leave tomorrow at 7am to travel to Fuertventura finally. I'm really hoping it goes as planned.

I'm finding it really stressful worrying about my poor mum. First holiday without dad, wasn't looking forward to going, hates flying and now this.

I was looking forward to having her with someone else for a while so I could have time for me and my kids. I know it sounds selfish but I really need the break. Tomorrow might be the start of not worrying for a few days.

Glad the hotel is good but the rest seems very poor

Everyone bar jet 2 seems to have struggled on today whereas jet 2 seem to have given up

Lots of unhappy jet 2 customers at Tenerife south airport - they have had to come to the airport today knowing their flight wasn’t going then hung around while jet2 worked out what they were doing with them
