I carry my Epipens every time I fly and have never had any problems.

Just make sure you get a letter from your doctor to say why you need to carry them and what you are carrying.

Let me know if you need any more info

I have always carried epipens in my hand luggage (have a roll along case for DDs medications she has that many bless)

I used to take a letter from her paediatrician but last year her GP just gave me a photo copy of her repeat prescriptions no signature or nothing so I actually just took the repeat prescription form with me .. I have never been asked for it and the only trouble I had, was at customs due to the fact that I always carry a pen in my bumbag, which I remove from the cardboard tube. Once he saw the other pens in their tubes he was fine (he never asked for any letter)

I always carry the repeat prescription form anyway incase I need to replace anything

My husband is diabetic and needs to carry needles on board, he had a letter from his doctor and just mentioned when checking in and again when the bag goes thru' the scanner, but we have never had any problem and no one has ever asked to see the letter either!

On our outward flight with Virgin last year the Chief Steward asked to see our consultants letter - which he proceeded to read straight through and then brought us a filled ice-bucket for our meds. On the return I said stewardess we had sharps with us and the only answer I got was "...another one..." !
