We have just started researching Hoi An, we are there for 3 and half days and are planning on hiring a driver to take us around.

Are you flying internally with Vietjet? If so, check into your booking before you go to make sure they haven’t bumped you into a later flight, they didn’t send us an email to tell us, it was only because I’m obsessive about checking that I noticed our first flight change from the morning flight to the afternoon one 😡 They really aren’t a great airline although the flight itself was fine (or maybe we were just relieved to be actually on our way 😂 )

Hoi An itself is far more accessible by foot than car as there are many streets cut off from vehicles through most of the day/evening. We used Grab/hotel shuttle bus to get us into the main Old Town and from the drop off point, it’s easy to navigate on foot

I’m hoping to get the next day written within the next few days. We have lots of tips and photos from Hoi An. We have been distracted this weekend as we are considering a trip to Mexico, so hoping to book that soon 😂
