Takeaway delivery to resort/room
I’ve been reading with interest that there is now plentiful availability of food from various restaurants that can be delivered to your resort. BUT seeing limited info about deliveries into Disney resorts, other than mixed experiences of deliveries into the main reception/concierge only.
So, I’m wondering if dibbers have been doing this at all? With plans afoot to spend 3weeks in a DVC studio, potentially without a car, this would be a v interesting option to consider when it comes to eating in/out...

From memory external companies won’t deliver to your room for security reasons but you can meet them in the lobby. The other thing to consider is where you are staying and the distance the food travels. BLT for example is quite a drive from any food outlets and would imagine it would not be very hot.

We have had meals delivered , we collected down at the entrance driving in (SSR) as it was close to our unit. Lobby collection also an option too.

Unless things have changed drastically, we have certainly had Pizza delivered straight to our room, at SSR. We also quite often walk up to the Crossroads to get an Olive Garden & then just carry it back to our room.
