Another update, new passport arrived this morning, 8 days after sending online application and having to redo the photo. Excellent service! 😁

I did DH and 2 kids with the phone, no issues. Just done mine online and it said the photo was "fair" with the reason being "eyes closed". It said I could still submit with a reason so that's what I've done. My eyes weren't closed so hopefully will now be accepted when a human sees it.
