We found very little difference between Air Canada and Air Canada Rouge on the long haul part of our flights except the crew was younger. The way our flights worked we were AC going out Heathrow to Ottawa and ACR coming back Toronto to Edinburgh but we had meals, comfy seats and seat back entertainment with both but it might have been a last minute change of plane. The only issue we had was with Special Assistance at Heathrow which wasn't AC's fault and wouldn't hesitate to book with either again.

We had similar TC issues and are now going via Toronto on Westjet! I’m scared of connecting flights! Apparently we have to collect bags!

Hi we have flown a couple of times with air Canada and have no issues. If you can stay a few days and visit the local attractions, niagara, niagara on the lake, Toronto zoo etc

I'm off with Air Canada to LA via Toronto and back to Manchester from Orlando with them. It's bizarre as I booked economy and have been assigned economy seat numbers but two strange things. The first is that they have for no apparent reason shifted my son back a row- even though we have booked a row of 4 in the middle. We are not going until summer but got an email 2 days ago saying he now had 19c. No idea why.
The second thing is the original booking email says we are Air Canada Rouge to Toronto, then proper Air Canda for the internal bit. But it also says when I click on detail for the Rouge bit, we will be seated in the premium cabin- but the seats we have definitely are not in the premium cabin. I am a bit of a loss to make head nor tail of it to be honest. My client goes to USA a lot (US company and his wife is American) and he says the Toronto Air Canada route is brilliant as no need to even collect luggage now- he says I will have enough time with my 1.5 hour transfer time, but we will see. Edit- so if I click email it takes me to a page where it has our seats, which have a gap in them in that they are not all together. When I click on 'Change seat' it does nothing so I cannot select other seats. It says this even though we are in economy with economy seat numbers selected- 12:25 Manchester (MAN) to 15:10 Toronto (YYZ) - 7Hr 45m Operated by Air Canada Rouge AC 1931 Operated by Air Canada Rouge Breakfast , Snack Cabin type (L) You will be seated in Premium Rouge.

Yup, Air Canada is a great service airline. Especially if you're in the new Dreamliner. The entertainment system and food are second to none. Rouge is a bit different and not as comfortable. They might have some tablets available to access the entertainment system but as others here suggest, download the app first. On the Canada - Orlando portion, there is a food charge. If you're on a morning flight and they serve breakfast, get the omelette. It's excellent!

I can't see anywhere on my booking that it is AC Rouge, and I am not sure how to check it

I think galaxyflorida already answered your question at the start about the configuration etc but I can't see that you have posted any date/flight number in your thread to be able to double check again for you. If you would like to put these details I will have a look for you and see if I can help.
