Studios - requesting real crockery

Hi,

Does anyone know if Mousekeeping with provide real crockery/cutlery to a studio on request? I can’t bear the thought of wasting so much paper/plastic whilst I am there.

Thanks

Yep. But they tell you it’s glass 😱 and you have to be VERY specific with what you want. I literally had to ask for 4x knives/forks/spoons 4x bowl/plate etc. It was painful! They rang the room twice to make sure they got it right and still forgot the knives 🙄

Do you have an owner's locker?

We've only just started using studios again now the kids are grown so have put 2 plates, bowls, wine glasses & cutlery in ours.

I was wondering about this- we are in a Copper Creek studio in summer (a one off for 4 nights for points conservation) and we have breakfast in the room each morning. May just take our plastic bowl and spoons etc?

We have a full cutlery set in our Locker, plus 4 plates and 4 bowls.

We always ring up though for 4 tumblers and 4 coffee mugs.

I refuse to drink from anything plastic.

Thanks for all the responses. Yep, have owners locker but it’s currently full of mugs, decent chefs knives, steak knives, George foreman, Brita jug, ponchos, oh and ears. Lots of ears. Fall back plan was to take something out in September and stash it in the locker if I can create space (no car to go offsite and buy any this time). However, if I can call up and ask (being prescriptive) that’s great - just gives me more room in my locker for ears. Thanks for all your help.

We keep cutlery and crockery in our OL, as well as wine glasses, bread board and a proper knife.

In our box we also have cutlery, small chopping board, sharp knife and melamine Disney plates and bowls. We have some proper mugs and glasses though and at Kidani studios we have always glasses and mugs.
I am with Mr Morrow, I don’t like drinking out of paper, just about manage when out and about parks.

I'll be on my own next trip and am planning to bring a few bits over in my case. I hate the plasic/paper wastage in the Studios too.
