That won’t really prevent sweaty backs - you need a frame allowing the air to circulate - like this osprey one... ospreyeurope/shop/gb...kelite-26-2018. You can get them for about £46 on Amazon... it means that the rucksack isn’t on your back...

It will come in handy for our beach day etc too.
I would forgo the mugs to not have to carry a rucksack - it’s really really hot in August - you don’t need anything making you hotter x

Last August I used a bum bag with a three pronged clip as they were allowed on rides. I also used a holster bag on my leg so i had the carrying capacity but no sweaty backpack.

It was nicknamed tacticool.

Except it did do exactly that

There's foam triangles that stick out and then a mesh layer over the top, so that the rucksack doesn't rest directly on the back

Im worried if I got a back pack someone would unzip it whilst in the crowds and pinch my stuff ...was looking for a small one that you put over your shoulder that's front facing

Do you really need a backpack for every day or parks use? On vacation we try to go minimalist. No point jumping a bag around all day if you don’t need to. Use trousers or shorts with zippered pockets instead, in the theme parks it makes entry so much quicker not needing to clear bag check lines. If you have special requirements for medicines or diet just take a cool bag or lunch bag.
