Universal Annual Pass - free parking?

I think there is a desk near Bubba Gumps where they can process tickets unless it's been removed, worth checking there first before walking to the gates.

A good tip with the preferred pass is to Valet park on the first day. As you pay when you pick the car up, you will have your pass in possession and will be charged $20 - which is the same as the regular parking you would have paid anyway.

Can you still buy a AP even if your not a Florida resident,I say this because they will ask for ID at the booths

You don’t have to be a Florida resident to buy an AP.

The reason they state "after first visit" is that in theory you don't have the pass on you before picking it up IYKWIM. As to when it starts, we bought ours in July & first time through the turnstiles was Sept only downside is when trying to buy discounted tickets as they request the AP No. which you obviously don't have, still works for Hotel discounts as you just need to have AP when you check in
