FP question (sorry!)

Sorry for another FP question guys! I've had a look and can't see the answer anywhere!

We are looking at going to WDW again next year, and are looking at staying on property. We usually stay off property in a villa and so have never had the 60 day FPs.

I think what we will end up doing is doing a couple of nights on property and the rest of the time in a villa.

If we were to purchase 14 day tickets along with a 2 or 3 night stay on property, would we get the 60 day FP for the whole 14 days?

'fraid not. Just for the 'on property' days. Otherwise we'd all book a single night to escape the awful 30 day scramble for the last few fastpasses.
But a villa is still far better even with more standby queuing... I know that I'll still have my pool to go back to and a fridge full of Bud. :-)

You used to be able to do this (people did a 1-day throw-away booking and got magic bands as well, usually at the camp ground) but they've now stopped this practice.

Personally I remain unconvinced by the "few" nights to get 60 day FP & it would really depend on which parks you were doing on that day. In my experience Day1 is a bit of a wash as far as headliners & normally day 3-4 before you have any sort of real choice, so in your scenario check out day. If you want to stay onsite then that is totally different, you will get MB & whilst you will get free parking at the parks this is offset as you will be charged for parking at the Resort.
