Flight prices
Could someone tell me what realistic prices I should be aiming for for Easter 2021? From what I can tell I will be limited to BA as I want to fly into San Francisco and out of San Diego, although I am not fixed in it having to be direct flights. We are 2A and 1C (12)
Thanks

I think unfortunately with so much turbulence in the world right now it is hard to guess what prices are likely to be.
BA are the only airline on the direct San Diego route so the prices tend to be higher. LA has a lot more competition so if the prices are very dear could be worth considering (two hour or so drive from San Diego)

We spent our second last day driving up to Long Beach from San Diego, taking in Scripps Aquarium and Legoland on the remainder of our Gosandiego card.. and stayed at Long Beach on the Queen Mary (the real one) for the night. We then transited across to Santa Monica, had a look round the pier and from there we had our Hollywood tour. LAX is just 7 miles away and we flew out that evening.
We did this because flights out of LAX were very much better deals than from San Diego. As another poster has said, San Diego direct is only serviced direct by BA. It is the obvious end point from which to end a California drive holiday (Mexican border) and thus, they charge rather high flight prices. As a guide, we were there in Easter of 2018 and the Dollar was at around 1.22 when we bought our London-SFO and Lax- LHR tickets.. £505pp economy. San Diego was around £90pp more.
