I did as a child on holiday in Cornwall, but the murky colour of the sea nearest to me now (Hunstanton) puts me off!

[QUOTE=mick;14477154]Indeed it is

We lived in Harrogate then and it was a two day journey to Cornwall. Round the Cumberland Basin in Bristol and stationary for hours on the Exeter by-pass,

Praa is a lovely beach. Very nearby is Prussia Cove, where HMS Warspite washed in on her way to scrapping and absolutely stunning. The cove is narrow and shallow. This means that the sea warms up on a hot August day.. unlike at Praa!
Prussia cove is how an artist would draw a cornish beach if they had never seen one!

Prussia Cove.

Prussia, narrow and shallow.

The wreck of HMS Warspite. You can see the house in the background in the first image.

Nope.
The water is far too cold!
As a teenager I used to be convinced to occasionally swim at West Wittering but no way would I now.
A nice beach walk is perfectly enough for me over here!

I don’t recognise the 3 rocks.

I honestly don’t recognise it. I have clearly never been there.

As SF says it's Holywell Bay. You can just about see a dot above one of the small rocks. It was an air/sea rescue chopper presumably from Culdrose?

Used to spend many a day on my Jet ski just down the road in Heacham. Never has been the most inviting looking sea 😁
