Anyone else amused by journalists lack of ability to operate their mute button on the daily briefings. Everyone in our family from 11 yr old DD to 87 MIL have managed to use Zoom, MS teams etc. Yet at every briefing a journalist struggles with the mute button 😊

Did you see Robert Peston’s reaction to the wishy-washy answer Boris gave him... and then no follow up question? Looked like he flopped back in his chair in disbelief & raised his hands up! I said to DH, it’ll probably feature on ‘Have I Got News For You’ next week! 😂

I really did laugh out loud when they left him to sort it out and then when they went back he still was on mute!

Me too! I thought Boris was seriously going to try & lip-read the question as he said something to that effect! Mind you, I shouldn’t laugh, i’m normally the dinosaur when it comes to anything technical!
