Parking at port of Miami?

Has anyone sailed out of Miami and parked a car there?
The onsite parking says its $22 a day but there doesn’t appear to be a way to book. Do you just turn up? Does the $22 include taxes etc?
Offsite parking with shuttle bus is $9 per night but dummy booking shows total $60 with taxes and fees etc.
I’d prefer not to need shuttle buses, but I’m just wondering if it’s $60 vs $88 or if I need to add taxes to the $88. And a bit nervous about turning up without a booking. Anyone parked there before and can shed some light on it? Thanks

We parked there last year, when sailing with RC on their 3 day perfect day cruise.

Parked in their new multi story - park up, take ticket from machine, put ticket back in machine when you return and pay.

Can't remember price... not sure I want to! It was our first cruise, so wanted it as easy as possible, which it was.

RC have their own garage and charge $25 pn.
Did you not have to prebook a space?

No, we just turned up, lots of spaces...we were early to enjoy ship, explore.
