Where do you hang your coats?

A bit of a strange one I guess but I’m interested to know where you hang your coats at home? When we moved into this house the coat hooks were in the downstairs toilet which I don’t like really but we stuck with it because I just can’t think were else they could go! Anyway, we’ve had a leak in the downstairs loo so all the flooring etc is up and I figure it’s a good time to redecorate before the new flooring goes down and an opportunity to get rid of the coat hooks. As I am still lacking ideas I’d like to know- where do you hang yours?

I keep ours in a box in our spare room and we usually just wear one at a time and keep them on the bannister. There is only two of us though 😊

My Wife is a tinker and leaves hers on the bottom newel post.

She has a load though in a wardrobe in one of the unused bedrooms.

I daren't investigate too much as every time I look my suits keep getting moved and I'm evicted from another wardrobe. I suspect my stuff will end up in the garage.

I use a hook on the back of the kitchen door.

We have everyday casual ones in the hall, some pretty old ones in the cupboard under the stairs and the good ones in the upstairs spare room wardrobe. There are only two of us, I think I need a clear out

I have coat hooks in my hall, and on the back of my bedroom door. Coats i’m using every day go on the hooks in the hall. All my other costs are hung up in the wardrobe.

Thanks for the reply’s so far. Our down stairs loo is in the cupboard under the stairs which I think is why I’ve not been able to think of anything else as that’s were we’ve had them at previous houses. I’m obviously a creature of habit! My husband has an irritating habit of hanging his suit jackets on the newel as well Mr TM which drives me mad as it looks really untidy!
I think most of them will have to go up in the wardrobes and then see if I can find a spare bit of wall in the hall. It’s a funny space as it has lots of doors coming off it so not a lot of wall space, I might have to sacrifice a couple of pictures!

Coats are almost as irritating to me as the random socks. They dump them on the conservatory settee when they come in ! We don’t have a hall and have cost hooks on the staircase just as the stairs turn round (iykwim) I am the only one in the house who seems to know where these hooks are though.
