You may have to choose what you want to really do before you go and keep your eye on the clock. My husband and son love space whereas my daughter and I are not so keen but in the spirit of fairness we go when we visit. Have to say I really love some of the parts of the trip especially seeing the space shuttle. Could you persuade them to go along with your and have a full day out together? Enjoy whatever you decide to do?

Absolutely Once you stand under that Saturn 5 rocket, and see the sheer size of it, it'll take your breath away. Plus now they have the Space Shuttle Atlantis on display.
For what it's worth, my 3 girls and DW absolutely love KSC and always insist on visiting (and they are girlie girls, not geeky or nerdy... )

Although you wont be able to see everything I'd definitely recommend going if its your only chance.
I can honestly say its the best place I've ever been to. Growing up with the Space Shuttle launches etc. then being there in amongst it all is incredible.

We went just to keep DH happy and my girlie girls (aged 8 and 12 at the time) also loved it - as did D'S at 15, but then I knew he would. We were there for a full day.
