I’ve done a shorter late night drive to Int Drive from the old Amway Center to see Eric Clapton and Roger Daltrey. I went solo but managed the midnight drive home fine, down the dreaded I4 which I usually avoid like the plague.

Edit: reading this back I must sound like a real eccentric ! A middle aged woman (still !) on her own 4,500 miles from home, zooming around to rock concerts via interstate motorways in the early hours !

If it helps, we left Tampa one evening and drove from the start of the I4 all the way back to the 192 (60ish miles iirc) with cruise control set at 70. Hardly any traffic and dh was almost thinking of driving further just because he could!

I’ve just got back from Tampa after spending the day in Busch gardens then onto the outlet, also few days ago left Tampa very late as watching the nhl. Wasn’t as tired tonight driving back but when we went to nhl I was very tired driving back but only took me 1.20mins to I drive. Roads are very quiet at that time of night

We have driven from Tampa back to the Disney Area about 7pm and had a really good drive - hardly any traffic

We attended a concert last year at the Amphitheatre in Tampa (Don Felder, Styx & Reo Speedwagon) and drove to Anna Maria Island after the show and it was no problem. The Police were on hand directing traffic away from the venue and we were on the road in no time but I would suggest the Premium Parking as it is located virtually right outside the entrance to the show and we were away really quick. The normal parking is a good walk to get to afterwards I believe. We also go their early to get a good parking spot after having food at the Seminole Hard Rock café/Casino which is just along the road. I also had reservations about the lateness particularly as our 12 year old daughter was with us but it was no problem, despite the show finishing later due to a massive storm in the middle of it! We also did a concert at the Amalie Arena and the same again, no problem in getting away despite the time. Enjoy the show, I'm sure it will be great.
