I have started to look for another small contract

though i am now in 2 minds again, what with the increase in dues, the exchange rate, the still lack of disney stopping free dining, i am once again not sure its worth buying DVC, maybe pay cash and get free ddp

It's always the dilemma Matt. But I look what it would cost me next year in 1 beds at Xmas when there's no free DDP (we are talking silly money, many are $750+ a night) and I think my DVC isn't such bad value after all they are costing me about $200 a night in dues.

very true

we have always mentioned christmas, on one hand it looks really special, on the other hand the pics of Main street USA just looks crazy busy, last year i read it took someone 3 hours to get down world drive to park from the I4 junction thats scary , though i guess staying onsite avoids that

as i said, we would love to do it, but then get scared

I wouldn't do it off site.

On site into parks early, home early, relax around the pool.

The other thing about DVC- because you know you'll be back, you don't try to pack everything in, and have a more relaxing holiday.

Closed today. The 5 month effort finally comes to an end. As I already own points should be there in about 10 days.

With the dues issues and points charts and lockoff premium points out of thin air issue, that's me done now (famous last words).

Well, I suppose it saved me over $4 k over buying direct all in. Not a huge saving but it was only a 100 point contract.
