That's always my go to drink on a plane. Never drink them any other time. Have no idea why!

I’m a day behind but I’ll catch up later I promise, just moved to BLT and the rooms ready so I’ll post my pics from the Palm in a bit.

What's your itinerary for the whole trip - Sept 19 we are doing MAN - HRH 3 nights- GF 7 nights - MAN - so was wondering if yours was similar.

Looking forward to giving Toothsome a whirl - but does look like it should be called "Toothless" after all the sugar you'll eat! Hahaha

Ok so as promised here’s our Friday night trip to The Palm

Classic Cosmo and Makers Mark Manhattan

Lobster Bisque

Crab Cake

Bacon wrapped scallops

Mozzarella sticks

Nueske bacon

Starters were excellent but the bacon was maybe a little too large for a starter - it was really tasty though.

9oz fillet

12oz fillet

Surf and turf

Kids cheeseburger

This next item is from the ‘secret menu’ not advertised but available if you know about it. It’s a twist on the standard sea bass dish on the menu and it’s known as sea bass a la Raul. It’s cooked with a white wine cream sauce with jumbo lump crab added. It’s also enhanced with a lobster tail to make a surf and surf.

Potato gratin

Whipped mash

Asparagus

All delicious, perfectly cooked fish and steaks.

Key lime pie

Cheesecake

Creme brûlée

French kiss

The bill

Just catching up with this.

Your plane food looked really good. Impressed with the afternoon tea offerings!

Your suite at the HRH looks amazing!

The bill for the Beach Club made my eyes water as it was basically fast food. Just shows how much they make on those cocktails!

The milkshakes at Toothsome look like a meal in themselves! I don't think there's any way I could have managed all that food after one of those. Another eye watering bill, even with the 10% discount!

Okay, if I thought the first 2 bills were eye watering, then the one for The Palm has just completely dehydrated me! Glad to hear that it was delicious and everything was perfectly cooked.

Look forward to reading along with the rest of your trip

Food at The Palm all looks really good - and plenty of it!
Wouldn’t want to be the one picking up that bill though!
