The problem is, at the moment, you can only buy the 15-month Seasonal and Power Passes or 18-month Preferred and Premier Passes. You can't buy the regular Annual Passes without the extra months. So when you click on the Annual Pass details the Ts&Cs clearly state: "This pass must be activated between October 4, 2018 and April 4, 2019". It doesn't say, "Activating after April 4, 2019 will result in getting a standard 12-month pass" or something similar.

To me, that implies that the pass has to be activated between now and the beginning of April in order to be valid.

But perhaps you are right and if you activate it after April next year you'll get a standard Annual Pass just without the extra months? I don't know for certain.

Yep. I have sent a query via their contact us page. It says 24-48 hours. Will post back if i hear from them.

Well they replied. I stated we were not going until Aug 19 and askedifni could buy an AP now and activate it when we go...

Just not sure whether to buy now as price will im sure be higher by the time we go. Or wait and hope this offer repeats between now and then.

I’m trying to find this out just now as I’ve gone and bought them but don’t go until August!
Hope I’ve not made an expensive mistake! (I knew that I wouldn’t get free months )
I’m sure I made a previous enquiry about annual passes to universal and was told I have a year from purchase to activate.
So hoping that I can still use them but only be valid for 12mths!
Ahhh is there a UK telephone number for universal Orlando?
Email reply’s only seem to answer part of my questions!

The Universal email replies are HORRENDOUS! lol. It's like they've been told they're not allowed to confirm the answer to any question you have!
There is a number for the "ticket line" on the UK site: 0800 691 1736
It's freephone so you may as well give it a go before trying anywhere else?

I have tried UK site number but they don’t deal with AP so was just referred to us number,
