Florida east coast beach recommendations?

Driving up from Miami to Orlando and want a couple of nights stay roughly half way up near a beach.
Any recommendations area / hotel?
Seen Vero beach as a possible. Cheers

We’ve just returned from a trip to east coast and stayed on Hutchinson Island (Jensen Beach). It was very quiet but lovely if you’re after a bit of beach time. Very different to the Gulf coast where we usually go but at least there was no sign of any red tide!
We stayed at Hutchinson Shores resort which is a fairly new hotel, right on the beach, and we got a good rate in their Fall flash sale 😁

Look at Lake Worth beach, very old Florida with a pier etc
