Yeah but lots of people on here have managed to get by asking around. I didn't as I went with "Oh right OK that's the new policy" but at least 5 people have posted since I upgraded to claim that this isn't and that you can downgrade. I think eventually all staff will be doing it but I think if I had known there was a chance some people aren't I might have at least asked at another place just to try my luck. Its worth giving it a go if you aren't loosing out on anything by asking.

Agreed, nothing ventured, nothing gained ... Always worth a go.

I upgraded to the 3 Park AP... And the woman at Guest Relations actually said that the system doesn't allow them to downgrade it anymore. Whether that was truth or just to prevent a protest I don't know but it definitely seems like it isn't possible anymore.

To be honest it's nice to hear they're all sticking to the same hymn book now although seems a shame to deny the guys that don't want to use their Volcano Bay option at all

We upgraded yesterday and the TM said the computer system doesn't allow them to change it from 3 to 2 parks anymore. I asked the prices at 3 different places and was quoted the same price each time but was happy enough with the price as we go the free 6 months on the preferred and 3 months on the seasonal.

That's where I did mine on Thursday and the computer wouldn't let the TM downgrade ours to a 2 park.

I renewed mine today and the 6 months free plus 20% discount offer is still available on preferred.
