UnderCover Tourist - legit tickets?
Hiya
I bit the bullet and bought tickets for Universal from Undercover tourist on my credit card, first time ever to Florida theme parks. I was expecting a professional looking package but they arrived in a white envelope stuck to a plain white piece of paper (there are ads when you lift the tickets up) and it's unnerved me a bit, it all looks very basic and unprofessional, especially compared to their website. The tickets themselves are quite basic right? Little bit of cardboard, expected more again! They also arrived in about 5 days which I thought was fast from America in Xmas shopping season, presume they have an outlet in the UK or is post just that quick? I might be a massive cynic but this is all new to me so can anyone just let me know if this is normal? Thanks! |

We've used them for Universal tickets and they were fine. Universal tickets are paper/card rather than plastic like Disney. Ours also arrived in a few days.

thank you, yes know the UCT are a legit site and well respected just got a little paranoia that I had used a false site. Seriously this is all costing so much my 'best deal/scammer' senses are in overdrive.

Universal tickets are made of thin cardboard with the generic Universal logo on the front. They've always been like that, so that's normal.
Undercover Tourist has an office in Edinburgh which is why the postage is free and reasonably quick. Regarding the way they are packaged, whenever I've bought from a third-party ticket seller they've usually just come in a white envelope with the tickets inside, maybe some freebies (for example, vouchers you can get in Orlando) and some ads. If I'm lucky, the tickets might be in a little cardboard wallet. I suspect if you had used a false site then you wouldn't have received anything. They would have just taken your money.
