Always done a BA fly drive, never been charged extra and car is fully insured

BA is fully inclusive, you aren’t charged anything else unless they make a mistake at the garage. BA give you a voucher which covers your car hire. However this can appear different to the actual car rental value if the exchange rate fluctuates. If it goes against you point it out and you won’t be charged. If the rate moves in your favour consider pre paying your fuel. I did this once and ended up being charged very little for a full tank. Just make sure that when you return the car you get a receipt showing that you don’t owe anything. (Goes for any company) if you don’t and charges are added later it makes it harder to argue.
